Making the Blocks

Carving

All of my deigns are either hand drawn on paper or my iPad and then transferred to a block. My preferred type of block to carve is using Soft-Kut which works well for printing on fabric. I sometimes use a more traditional linoleum block, especially for images I know will be printed primarily on paper.

Once the image is transferred the blocks are carefully made using carving tools.
